I do so enjoy your cooking videos. I have been looking at other sites getting ideas but none compare to yours. There are many things I like about them but the truthfulness of them I must list first. Reading recipes and comments does not necessarily tell me what to do or expect they way you do. Adding the part about them being dry and eating with a beverage is spot on. Adding the part about cutting the recipe in half and making a cookie was also nice.

Thank you Karen. I am glad that sharing the way I eat is helpful to you. I enjoy cooking, and consider it one of my hobbies...which of course can be combined well with the hobby of dieting. I consider myself a competent cook of simple, tasty food, and I choose to cook the things I like. Although I frequently try out new recipes, even these new recipes contain only the ingredients that I personally like. Also, unless I like a recipe a great deal, I never make it a second time.

Can this be made with any protein powder?? I use Herbalife, just wondering...

philhunting,You can, but the consistency of the cupcake, or cookie, could vary from brand to brand. I made up this recipe using Designer brand of whey protein powder. Once I was visiting with someone who had a different brand of vanilla whey protein powder, and I made the recipe with theirs. The cupcake turned out a bit different, was a bit grainy and didn't hold together very well. I KNOW that it works really well with Designer brand, but if you want to use a different brand it not turn out the same. It also might take more or less liquid, or it might take more or less time in the microwave. You'd just have to try it to find out to see what happens.
