John, No doubt you're right. =) All of my previous cats have been combination inside-outside cats, but my plan is for Layla to be my first indoor-only cat. My plan is to take her for outdoor visits on a leash .. I'm already working to get her used to a harness for 10 min or so at a time. So far, she doesn't seem to dislike wearing it briefly. Next comes attaching it to a leash, and then some brief trips outside into the yard ... probably after the Holidays.
