Charts of My Weight-Loss & First Three Years of Maintenance - POSTED ON: Jul 18, 2016
I have been consistently tracking all of my daily food and my daily weight since September 2004. Below are some Charts that demonstrate these records.
The first two charts below are of my Weight-Loss phase.
This Chart shows my daily weights from September 2004 through the end of January 2006 when I reached my goal weight.
This Chart shows my daily calorie totals from September 2004 through the end of January 2006 when I reached my goal weight. (It's best to follow the Blue Line because the Red line is often hidden underneath the Blue line. The Red line is the food eaten, the Blue line is the net of the food eaten - after factoring in additional exercise.)
The remaining charts below are of my ongoing Maintenance of Weight-Loss phase.

My Status - May 2016 Maintenance - POSTED ON: May 24, 2016
Occasionally, I share my numbers here at DietHobby to show how it's going for me here in Maintenance. Below is a chart showing details of my weights and calories for the past 3 weeks or so of this month.
See the bottom of the picture for my Average weight, and the Average number of calories I was able to eat per day to achieve that weight number.
For ME, 125.3 lbs is a BMI of 24.5. SO....the chart shows that this past 3 weeks, in order to maintain a BMI of 24.5, I was able to eat an average of 901 calories per day.
These numbers show a fairly normal month for me here in my 10th year of weight-loss maintenance. According to my detailed daily Computer Food Journal Records, 913 calories has been my actual CALORIE AVERAGE for the past 365 days.
It is very difficult to achieve eating so very few calories. I manage one-day-at-a-time. My ultimate goal is to maintain my large weight-loss for the rest of my life, and...if possible...I want to keep my weight within a "normal" BMI range. I share many of my thoughts and my struggle on this issue here at my website, DietHobby, where I've scrapbooked a great many articles, pictures, and videos. Many articles and videos I've created myself, and many of them are those I find helpful, interesting, or amusing. I named my website, DietHobby, because I've found it personally necessary to treat "dieting" as a "hobby". Read my first article at Diethobby 5+ years ago, which I wrote back in February 2011, Dieting is my Hobby. It is still just as true for me today as it was then.
