Commitment is one of the things I find most necessary for personal weight-loss and maintenance success. I work to stay true to my Commitment, even when I don't feel like it.
One of my top Commitments is to track all of my food everyday. I've been consistently successful at that now for the past 8 1/2 years.
I also have other related commitments which are strictly one-day-at-a-time, and I've achieved far less success with these. One is to work to eat at-or-under whatever calorie ceiling I've set for the day, and another is to work to follow whatever food plan I've chosen for that day. My success with these commitments tend to be more sporadic, but still....so far....I've had far more successful days than unsuccessful days.
So it goes.
